Welcome to the St. Ignatius Parish Children’s & Youth Faith Formation Website.
This Fall, we will kickoff the St. Ignatius Parish year long 100 year centennial celebration of the Church with a combined parish Mass at 10:00 am followed by a picnic on Sunday, September 29th. The church was completed and dedicated in August 1914 and took four years to build. The celebration will continue into the Fall of 2014.
Catholic Prayers This year, in partnership with parents, we have set a goal of encouraging and assisting children to learn their basic Catholic Prayers. Click on the following links to learn more:
TO MEMORIZE OR NOT TO MEMORIZE Why children and all of us should learn our basic prayers. Prayers can be a source of strength, comfort and consolation in difficult times and at the time when a person is near death… especially when loved ones are gathered by their side and they hear their loved ones praying these prayers.

On the Catechists/Teachers web page, click on the “Content Charts and Correlation” link and then the “Scope & Sequence” link. This will give you detailed information about every lesson from Grade 1 through Grade 6.
At the end of each lesson in the children’s workbook, there is a page WITH MY FAMILY, which includes a quick summary of what your child learned in the lesson; Sharing God’s Word; We Live as Disciples; and Our Spiritual Journey.
